Who Am I? I learned to sew at a very young age, making my first “runway” item during my high school years. My daughter, Candace (www.cmhackett.net), above on the right and in the blue dress on the left has been after me for several years to do this for living, so I finally took her advice. I am very particular of what leaves my sewing room. I have made items for several local high school productions, Tennessee State University (TSU) activities, Renaissance Festivals, as well as pageant and prom dresses. What are you looking for? I specialize in Renaissance, Medieval, Civil War, Halloween, and Special Occasion wear for men, women and children. My site has pictures of lots and lots of ideas to help you create your special garment. Even if you don’t see what you are looking for on the site, send me a description, or better yet a picture ,and I will see what I can do. I am also able to embroider designs or monograms on items. What I don’t offer. I do not do alterations (unless it is a garment I made for you). I don’t even alter my own stuff. I also do not do home décor (curtains, bed coverings, etc.). I also use several suppliers through the Internet. All fabric is selected with your specifications on design and color. |
